It’s up to the individual traveler whether or not he or she wants to be immersed in a gay world or to stay at a Key West resort that welcomes everyone no matter what their sexual orientation. Any type of vacation can be managed in Key West. Below are a few places in Key West that offer an all-gay world. There are gay resorts, inns, cruises and bars.
Island House is famous for its gorgeous compound resort with pool, spa, andd poolside restaurant. The resort is completely private and surrounded by walls. Inside the resort, guests are free to wear whatever they want, even nothing at all. It’s a private resort open to guests only. The resort has won lots of awards and accolades like Best gay men’s resort in the world. Poolside amenities are open twenty four hours a day so the party never stops. Meet other travelers and relax by the pool, or head out to Old Town Key West, right outside the gates of the resort. There’s a spa, a gym, an erotic video lounge, and full-luxury rooms. Pearl’s Rainbow used to be a resort for women in Key West. It’s close to Southernmost Point in a beautiful part of town. It’s a full-service resort with two pools, two hottubs, a poolside bar called “Pearl’s Patio”, which was Key West’s only bar for women only. There are plenty of shady and sunny places to relax and lounge about, and it’s clothing optional. The pool area is open 24 hours a day and guests love that. They can do full cooked breakfast for guests if the light complementary breakfast isn’t enough for you. There was a recent renovation of the 1800s-era main building that used to be a cigar factory. It’s a lovely resort in a lovely city that’s open and friendly towards the gay population. What would make a better vacation spot?
